Have your child immunized early and beat the rush

As the first day of school begins on Aug. 23, the United Independent School District encourages all parents to make sure their child's immunizations are up-to-date. As per state law, students who do not have their required immunizations may not be allowed to attend class. UISD reminds parents to beat the "back-to-school rush" and take advantage of the many community immunization clinics available to the public or see their private physician.
